Below is Nick's 9 week post op exercises. Some are carried over from earlier weeks, some are new, especially the pelvic tilt exercises. On a school day he does one set first thing in the morning, some of the exercises at school (as and when possible) and another set in the evening. On non-school days he does them about every 2 hours.
- 5 mins stationary cycle to warm up
- Superman
- Praying
- Sit to stand with med ball from low step
- Wagging tail, adapted for foot wagging (!)
- Pelvic tilts on all fours with a water bottle to help him keep his back straight
- Standing pelvic tilts against a wall
- Calf, hamstring (dynamic, swinging leg) and glutes stretches
- Propped up on front
